One of the most loved cartoon characters in the world
One of the most well-known and loved cartoon characters is the reporter Tintin.
Created by Belgian artist Herge in 24 exciting stories. Each book is an adventure with Tintin as he tries to solve the case and interacts with memorable and engaging characters.
Noted characters include Captain Archibald Haddock, Professor Cuthbert Calculus, Thomson and Thompson, Bianca Castafiore and Nestor the butler.
Tintin is also translated into the Afrikaans language in South Africa. The series goes under Kuifie.
Background information:
Tintin is a young Belgian reporter who becomes involved in dangerous cases in which he takes heroic action to save the day.
Almost every adventure features Tintin hard at work doing investigative reporting and meeting up with new and familiar characters. |
