When Jo, Bessie and Frannie move to their new house in the country, they discover an Enchanted Wood near their home where magic is everywhere and trees whisper secrets to one another. In the middle of the wood grows the most magical tree in the world – The Faraway Tree.

This Collection includes:

The Enchanted Wood  In "The Enchanted Wood", the children waste no time exploring the enormous tree and while doing so, soon meet some strange creatures who live amongst the branches. Together with their new friends, Moonface, Saucepan Man and Silky, the children set off on some fantastic adventures in the lands that come and go at the top of the tree.

The Magic Faraway Tree
"The Magic Faraway Tree" is the second book in the trilogy, where we return to the Enchanted Wood with Joe, Beth, Frannie and their cousin Rick set out on some all-new adventures in the lands at the top of the Faraway Tree. Once again they are joined by their friends Moon-Face, Saucepan Man and Silky.

The Folk of the Faraway Tree
The third and final book in The Magic Faraway Tree series sees Curious Connie come to stay with Jo, Bessie and Frannie. The three children are keen to introduce Connie to "The Folk of the Faraway Tree" – but Connie doesn't believe in magic, or fairy-folk, and pours scorn on everything she sees.

The imagination muscle

I adored these books as a child and introduced my daughter to snippets from another book. She loves these stories and wants me to read them over and over to her and it gets her away from being bombarded by screen time which does not stimulate imagination as much as books and creative play. I love the books and I love the price - more please!

Childhood favourite

I first discovered these books when our teacher read them to us many years ago. Now with my little one at the same age, we get to enjoy them together. I love the world of imagination that these books invite you into. Absolutely love them!

Childhood favourite

Growing up without this collection would have been the worst because this was one of the best things to read me to sleep at night. My favourite character was definitely Beth. I recommend this book for all ages and a great book to read with family!
