The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk by Carissa Broadbent – An Epic Dark Romantasy of Gods, Vampires, and Love Beyond Death
Return to the breathtaking world of the Crowns of Nyaxia series with The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk by Carissa Broadbent, a powerful fantasy romance filled with divine magic, dangerous quests, devastating sacrifices, and a love that refuses to surrender to fate.
After making the ultimate sacrifice to save those she loves, Mische's actions leave the world forever changed, plunging it into an eternal night. Separated by death, betrayal, and the wrath of the gods, Mische and Asar find themselves caught in a conflict far greater than either of them imagined. When a goddess offers them one final chance at redemption—and a path back to each other—they embark on a perilous mission that could alter the fate of every realm.
To save the world from collapse and defy the forces threatening to tear them apart, Asar must attempt the impossible: claim the power of the god of death and ascend to true divinity. Their journey takes them through mortal kingdoms, immortal realms, ancient ruins, and deadly confrontations with gods, monsters, and long-buried secrets. Along the way, they must confront the cost of love, power, and the sacrifices demanded by destiny itself.
Rich with emotional depth, haunting world-building, and unforgettable character development, The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk delivers everything readers love about Carissa Broadbent's writing: slow-burn romance, morally grey characters, epic fantasy stakes, and heartbreaking choices. This gripping continuation of the Shadowborn Duet expands the Crowns of Nyaxia universe with even higher stakes, darker magic, and an unforgettable exploration of love in the face of impossible odds.
